Carrie Henn is a Saturn Award-winning former child actress, best known for playing the role of Newt in Aliens, the second installment of the Alien series.

In 1987, Henn won the Saturn Award for "Best Performance by a Younger Actor/Actress". She was also nominated for the Young Artist Awards that same year. In 2003, Henn was co-nominated for a DVD Exclusive Award for her commentary work on the Alien Quadrilogy box set.

Personal life

Henn's father was a non-commissioned officer of the U.S. Air Force, and his duties led the family to relocate to England in the mid-1980s. Her mother, Roeseleen was a British born nurse, who had left work after the birth of Henn to look after her family. While living in England, Carrie auditioned and got the part of "Newt" in the feature film. Henn's older brother, Christopher was also cast in the film, playing Newt's older brother, Timmy although this scene is only available in the film's Special Edition.  

The Henn family Transferred once more to Castle Air Force Base by the time the film premiered, Carrie and her family viewed the film for the first time in a local Merced California movie theatre as guests of the Studio, and UA Theatre chain.

In 1994, Henn graduated from Atwater High School in Atwater, California. She later attended California State University, Stanislaus (CSUS), in Turlock, California, and graduated in 2000 with a BA in liberal studies. In 2005, Carrie married Nathan Kutcher, a fellow classmate of Henn's at CSUS who also graduated in 2000, with a BA in criminal justice. He is now a police officer.

Henn is now an elementary school teacher at Shaffer Elementary School in Atwater, California where she also resides. She still keeps in touch with her Aliens co-star Sigourney Weaver.
