Alien is a 1982 video game published by Fox Video Games for the Atari 2600. The game is loosely based on the eponymous 1979 film.
Gameplay[]
The game is a Pac-Man clone; as such, the player controls a human who must find all of the Xenomorph eggs (dots) while avoiding 3 Alien Drones (which act as the ghosts in Pac-Man) in a maze-like version of the Nostromo. The player can also use a flamethrower to kill the Aliens. The player can also collect symbols that acts like the flashing pellets in Pac-Man. The fruits are replaced with planets or spaceships. Once the player collects all the eggs, he/she will be transported to a bonus round, where the player must find an extra point power-up while (again) avoiding dozens of aliens. The player will be transported back to the maze, whether or not the player wins the bonus round.
